We employ around 25 full-time and 45 part-time ski and snowboard instructors each winter season. Many of these return year after year, however we always have space for a few new instructors to join us each year.

 

Although most of our instructors are qualified through the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (www.basi.org.uk) we also recognise many other countries qualifications. Dual qualified instructors are more employable. A majority of our work is with beginners and kids, and so the skills and ability to work with young children, as well as beginner classes (sometimes day after day!) is essential. In addition to a friendly and cheerful manner, and a great attitude, in order to work for us an applicant should also have the following:

 

- Availability during the busy periods of the  season (Christmas and New Year, and February half term)

- A recognised and valid instructional qualification - usually Level 2 although we employ Level 1 instructors in our trainee scheme. This should be up to date and revalidated. 

- A recognised first aid certificate ( 2 day)

- PVG scheme membership (replacement for disclosure)
