Cairngorm Snowsports (The Ski and Snowboard School) is committed to reducing any harmful effects its operations have on both the local and global environment by adopting an Environmental Policy with the following principal actions:

• Spreading the news of the Cairngorms National Parks wonderful heritage, nature and environment by helping to promote tourism that respects the environment
• Training our employees and raising their awareness of environmental issues and the importance of their participation and responsibilities for protecting the environment
• Use the opportunity during lessons to also educate customers about the local area, and its heritage, nature and environment
• Continually seek to improve environmental performance, by reducing the use of energy and supplies through the use of online communication, and a reduction in printing
• Measuring our impact on the environment and setting targets for ongoing improvement
• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation
• Encouraging customers to be environmentally sensitive:
  • Recycle where possible
  • Reuse towels, reduce water use and turn off lights etc
  • Buy local products to support the local economy and reduce Co2 emissions
  • Eat local to support local producers and businesses
